EPC stands for Engineering, Procurement, and Construction and is a prominent form of contracting agreement in the construction industry. The engineering and construction contractor will carry out the detailed engineering design of the project, procure all the equipment and materials necessary, and then construct to deliver a functioning facility or asset to their clients. In this era of escalated demand for growth, the engineering, procurement and construction industry faces issues of constant material price fluctuation and shortage of skilled resources.

In India, large conglomerates such as GMR, Jaiprakash Associates, L&T, Nagarjuna Construction, and Punj Lloyd execute turnkey projects in several sectors such as Transportation, Power, and Telecommunication.
